Leading Shakespeare Scholars, Dr Emma Smith & Prof. Simon Palfrey, University of Oxford English Faculty together with Oxford’s best Directors and Workshop leaders, invited Year 12 & 13 Students of English and Drama to experience what it would be like to study Humanities at Oxford University, visiting the new Weston Library to see a Shakespeare First Folio and participating in workshops which explored Shakespeare’s words and actions at The Story Museum. Students also had the opportunity to visit ‘The Painted Room’ where Shakespeare is reported to have stayed when he visited Oxford.  Seventy-eight students from Oxford Academy, The Cherwell and Didcot Girls School took part.
