Shakespeare Schools Festival

Primary SSF

Shakespeare Schools Festival is proud to present a series of unique performances by young people from all over Oxford.

All are welcome to this inspiring evening of theatre at Theatre at Headington. Whether you are a parent, friend or another local school, SSF is a wonderful way to experience the language, magic and possibilities of Shakespeare.

Shakespeare Schools Festival is the UK’s largest youth drama festival and enables over 1,000 primary, secondary, and special schools to stage abridged Shakespeare productions in their local professional theatre.

“I am delighted that Shakespeare Schools Festival, through its reach across the UK, is enabling new generations of young people to discover why he is still the world’s greatest playwright. I am very proud to be a patron of Shakespeare Schools Festival.” Dame Judi Dench, SSF Patron
